Still in Phoenix

Carter is still in Phoenix while his parents make the big move to San Jose. His grandparents have been taking great care of him though! He'll be in his new apartment on Saturday.

It's really hard getting both of them to look at the camera at the same time.

Teething hurts!

Carter's front two bottom teeth came in with no problem, but he's had a really rough time with the next ones. He was up every two hours last night crying. He's not eating much and he's really fussy. He's drooling and has a slight fever. Poor baby!

We can't really see the culprits yet...




Chewing on a wet washcloth that has been cooled in the refrigerator definitely helps. So does liquid Tylenol.

Almost six months

We brought Carter in to the doctor today for his almost six months checkup. (He'll be in Phoenix for his six-month birthday). He's 16 pounds and over 26 inches tall. He has a giant, giant head. At a 45.5 cm circumference, his head is bigger than 90 percent of all babies that age. Otherwise, he's of average height and a little underweight.
