
We took Carter to get his 12-month checkup and shots the other day. He has actually lost weight since the end of December and now is as 21 pounds, 2 ounces. That's only in the 25th percentile. If he hadn't have been sick for two weeks there I'm betting he would have continued to be in the 50th percentile range. Time to fatten him up!
He's 31 inches tall, which is in the 75th percentile. And Carter still has a giant, giant noggin, with a head measuring 49.7 cm and in the 95th percentile.
He got his first measles and chicken pox vaccinations. Too bad he'll never experience the pain and all-consuming irritation of the chicken pox. I think it toughened me up a little when I was a kid.

Favorite food: Blueberries. He eats these so fast it's amazing he doesn't choke.
Least favorite food: Tuna fish! Immediately spat out.
Favorite activity: Chasing cats around and pulling tails.

Funniest trick: Climbing on to the coffee table and doing a weird stomping dance, which we call the Coffee Table Shuffle. (video of that coming soon)

Spoken words: None yet. But he does do a Neo-from-The-Matrix "bring it on" move with his hand when he wants something.
Recent achievements: Graduating from baby bathtub to full-on grownup bathtub.
Putting an invisible phone to his ear when he hears anyone say "hello."
Correctly pointing out his mommy and daddy in their wedding photo.
Jumping on the couch.
Standing on the floor and spinning around and around and around...
