San Francisco harbor

On Father's Day, we took a boat tour of the San Francisco harbor. (Yes, Father's day. This is how behind I am on posting).

Alcatraz is still there.

Carter did a little boat dancing.

Investigating.

Fabulous wind hair.

At first, we stayed inside because we weren't sure how Carter would like all the wind. Turned out, he loved it.

Chuck E Cheese picture

Chuck E. Cheese has a cool picture machine, and it only costs one token:

I'd rather be watching Dora

Poor Carter. His mean old mom dragged him to the Boardwalk and put him on a super cool ride.

A milk bath?

Whoa, Carter can sure balance a milk cup on his head!

Locked in

Carter locked himself in his room the other day. He closed the door and somehow turned the little button on the handle sideways. He wasn't able to turn it back to get out.

At first, I was pretty calm. We asked him to turn the door button, which he couldn't. Then we tried to climb in the window, which was locked. Finally, we had to call an emergency locksmith.

Then, 45 minutes and $100 later, he was out. Surprisingly, Carter was calm and happy throughout. Maybe it's because we slid Pez candy under the door. He was pretty quiet, but once in a while he would scream, "Get me out of here!"

Having learned our lesson, we swapped out the door handle for one that doesn't lock at all.
