Shark tooth!

Carter hasn't lost a single tooth yet, and he's anxious to start after watching his friends at school proudly show off the gaps in their mouths. His front bottom teeth are a little loose, but we haven't seen anything big yet. That all changed when his permanent tooth started coming in behind the baby tooth -- a condition informally known as shark teeth. Carter's really excited now. He says the tooth fairy comes in every night and pulls up the permanent tooth a little bit more. He should be losing that baby tooth soon!

Playing with Legos

One of Carter's favorite things to do is play with his Lego minifigures. The dining room table has become a huge setup of Lego sets, and Carter goes there about once a day to play. And he does it by himself, which is a great relief to me.
