The video of the graduation is below the photos.
A blog about a boy who loves video games, swimming, karate, drinking milk, teasing the dog, ordering room service, playing with his cousins and saying "fart" too much.
I have to say I'm quite proud of John for getting us here. He read three books to Carter every night for much of the year. It took a lot of dedication and love, and while John doesn't always show it, he has more than Carter could ever ask for.
Plus the museum is pretty boring for a 6-year-old. Sue the dinosaur is the most exciting thing there; the rest of it looks like it hasn't been updated in decades.
But for some reason Carter absolutely loved picking up a phone and hearing a Pidgin English song about World War II from Tanna, Vanatu. It sounded a little like Alvin and the Chipmunks, and Carter thought it was the greatest thing ever.
And then he got an ice cream sundae.
After breakfast, he had a great time.
The cafeteria at the aquarium had the best Chicago dog in the city!
